Question about this typhoon name from the Marshall Islands
I was wondering how Barijat is written with the Marshallese alphabet/diacritics. According to the Typhoon Committee, it means "coastal areas impacted by waves/winds". I looked up Marshallese-English Online Dictionary and didn't find barijat, but found parijet, which means "lagoon shore; lagoon beach; seacoast; seashore", instead. So I'd like to ask anyone who knows this language if they are the same word or not.
