Democrats Narrative Backfire: Majority Of Americans Blame Illegal Immigrants Parents Not Trump

A new poll from Rasmussen Reports released on Wednesday showed that the majority of Americans blame illegal immigrant parents who bring their kids with them while illegally entering the United States for the current media-driven border separation issue.

Rasmussen Poll: When families are arrested and separated after attempting to enter the United States illegally, 54% of Likely U.S. Voters say the parents are more to blame for breaking the law. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that only 35% believe the federal government is more to blame for enforcing the law.

56% of non affiliated voters believe that illegal immigrants parents are to blame because they are breaking the law.

Rasmussen also found that the majority of Americans (54%) agreed with President Donald Trump's recent comment that "The United States will not be a migrant camp. And it will not be a refugee-holding facility – it won’t be."

Only 30% of Americans disagreed with that statement.
