Robert Mueller: We are Confidence The President Did Not Commit A Crime"

Mueller made his first public statement regarding the Democrats witch hunt and boy its the final nails to the coffin of Fake Russian Investigation.

Washington Post:
Standing alone on stage in a room used for press conferences on the Justice Department’s seventh floor, Mueller said that if his office “had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so,” and noted that the Constitution “requires a process other than the criminal justice system to formally accuse the president of wrongdoing.”

But if Mueller was trying to suggest Democrats could initiate impeachment proceedings, he also seemed to dash any hopes they might have had of doing so with him as their star witness.

The special counsel — who noted he was closing up shop and formally resigning from the Justice Department — said he hoped the news conference would be his last public comments, and if he were compelled to testify before Congress, he would not speak beyond what he wrote in his 448-page report.

He said it. If the President committed a crime his report and his team would have said so but since the President didn't they haven't said anything. He also said he would not speak beyond the report and will follow federal guidelines that set his report and investigation. The same thing Attorney General Barr is doing. He also stated that he wanted certain parts of the report to be released at first as according to the federal guidelines But AG Barr did the opposite and release the full report public.

Mueller: Special counsel probe did not exonerate Trump

Special counsel Robert Mueller said Wednesday he was barred from charging President Donald Trump with a crime but pointedly emphasized that his Russia report did not exonerate the president. If he could have cleared Trump of obstruction of justice he "would have said so," Mueller declared.

The special counsel's remarks, his first in public since being tasked two years ago with investigating Russian interference to help Trump win the 2016 presidential election, stood as a strong rebuttal to Trump's repeated claims that he was exonerated and that the inquiry was merely a "witch hunt." They also marked a clear counter to criticism, including by Attorney General William Barr, that he should have reached a determination on whether the president illegally tried to obstruct the probe by taking actions such as firing his FBI director.

Mueller made clear he believed he was restrained from indicting a sitting president — such an action was "not an option" — because of a Justice Department legal opinion. He did not use the word 'impeachment" but said it was Congress' job to hold the president accountable for any wrongdoing.

"If we had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so," Mueller said. "We did not however make a determination as to whether the president did commit a crime."

The witch hunt is dead. 2 years and millions of dollars wasted for something that is nothing but a excuse for losing 2016. Thanks to our Democrats friends they have proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump did not committed anything nor colluded..It hurts i know. The truth hurts. MAGA

No refuting of The AGs assessment of the Mueller report.
  • Sure. That's what your Liar-in-Chief wants you to believe. And so you do.

There's just one problem. That's not what Mueller said.

Again, "If we had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so," Mueller said. "
  • Creepy Reaper, a bigger liar than Herr Drumpf. FM quoted Mueller accurately, and scumbag lied about what the words mean. If you can’t read, fascist scum, STFU!
  • That's not what President Trump wants me to believe. Its what Mueller said that let me to this conclusion. No refuting of AG Barrs summary statement of Muellers report. No collusion No evidence of obstruction. No case. When the prosecution does not enough evidence to convict he defer from recommending charges. Which means full exoneration of Trump.

Don't you love how justice is blind in a democracy.
  • Sarem, I'm as much of a facist as Trump is guilty. Lol....Mueller resigned and will not testify beyond his concluded investigation. He had authorizy to recommend charges yet defer from it. CNN told us he would Indict Trump and his son and his son in law.

Good man Mueller. Now Democrats will turn on him.
