March 29 -- “So you’re talking about 2.2 million deaths, 2.2 million people, from this. And so, if we could hold that down, as we’re saying, to 100,000 — it’s a horrible number — maybe even less, but to 100,000 — so we have between 100,000 to 200,000, we, all together, have done a very good job."
Think about this. If the modeling relied upon by the Great Leader is correct, and at least 100,000 people die in the US from COVID-19, that will almost be as many deaths as people who died on the US side in the Korean War (33,686), Viet Nam War (58,220), 9/11 (2,996), the Iraq War (4,424), and the Afghanistan War (2,440 military, 1,720 civilian contractors) -- COMBINED. 100,000 US residents dead from COVID-19 will be +/- 4,000 less than the combined death tolls from the Korean War, Viet Nam War, 9/11, the Iraq War, and the Afghanistan War, combined.
"... we, all together, have done a very good job."
Hahahaha. Yea, right. Would you like to point out where in the poll it says that "55% of ... democrats" approve of Trump. Actually, you can't, because you read at a kindergarten level. Go ahead, DOPEHEAD, re-read the article and find the part that says that 55% of Democrats approve of Trump. Oh, that's right. You can't, because it doesn't say that. What it does say, and where it references 55% is the following:
And among those figures, 55 percent of registered voters backing Trump are "very" enthusiastic in their support, with 31 percent "somewhat" enthusiastic, while just 28 percent of registered voters in favor of Biden are "very" enthusiastic, compared to 46 percent who are "somewhat."
55 percent of voters backing Trump are very enthusiastic, with 31 percent somewhat enthusiastic. Those numbers are just about the same as Trump has been getting throughout. 86 percent of Trump backers back Trump either enthusiastically or somewhat enthusiastically.
And 74 percent of Biden supporters support Biden either enthusiastically or somewhat enthusiastically. 28 percent support Biden enthusiastically, and 46 percent support Biden somewhat enthusiastically. Trump gets 2 hours of air time on all cable news networks daily, seven days a week, and Biden gets 15 minutes where he can, when he can.
I'll bet that if you had a two hour slot on all cable networks every day even you would be greeted "enthusiastically."
in case you FORGET! This is the Election results of 2016.
In a democracy we elect our local and state representatives. We actually chose them not like how Socialist Nazi Germany or Communist Russia or Communist China.
SC, if Trump is the worst, then, who do you think would do or could do a better job: anyone of these you might recommend?: Hillary, Biden, Sanders, Pelosi, Shumer, Schiff, Nadler, AOC or who?
While he may not be a perfect person, his executive work experiences provides him with skills to take strong actions; and be able to delegate responsibilities but still ensure that whatever are recommendations by others, he accepts, modifies, rejects recommendations. That is what a good chief executive does. He owns his decisions; and he owns the outcomes. So you and others might not like. But just look at the "sense of direction"--where this problem is heading.
His administration is dealing with many "impossible parts" in the country--state governments and governors, federal and state agencies, international firms, independent countries which he has no control over, private enterprises that he does not control, individuals such as Pelosi, Shumer, Schiff and others who continue to take a snipe at him. And then there are the media reporters who want to stand out; and so they take positions and ask questions that are meant to create negative impression.
In spite of all of these, the sense of direction is that of the country that is moving forward. With the assistance of all the citizens, implementing the mitigation recommendations including stay-home directives, the virus infection spreadd will start to go down soon.
Marc. Trump's administration is failing this crisis big time and your four paragraph longs post is like fiction novel but it is your deep insight of nonsense. you sound educated but seems to be ignorant to the fullest of what really is gong on in this Trump's administration let alone in Trump 's own brain.. you are very confused my friend. I swear!

Executive Summary: Two weeks ago we predicted that the U.S. death toll from COVID-19 would reach 20,000 by April 15th. The following article explains why. Article:
I am furious and frustrated. Once the greatest country on the face of this planet, the United States is going hat in hand to China, begging for a few respirators and masks.
Anthony Fauci and the CDC know that nearly half of the infected people show no symptoms and stealthily spread the new coronavirus, yet their hands are tied trying to tell the American people to wear masks because the few that we do have rightfully belong to our healthcare workers. We are absolutely helpless.
All i hear is the same narrative that China is saying. Remember China is in a trade war with the US. And all these so called Democratic Socialists are taking China's side.
little by little these so called micros like visa and factsmatter get exposed. What's more a jewish or a pretending jew like SC is stoking the fire of hate.
visa, AC, SC so which Democrat or Socialist Democrat could do a better job in handling the current crises than President Trump. Give me a name; and we'll go from there.
Marc, that's a good question. However, it's hard to answer your question mainly because each of them would have to be in Trump's position as Prez in order for us to assess & analyze how each of them is handling the case.
I would think, however, all of them wouldn't downplay the seriousness of this pandemic & consider it a hoax as Trump did.
But that's my opinion. I could be wrong.
Stay safe yu all
As for our own President or leaders, I think our own leaders are doing a great job so far cuz FSM is one of only 18 remaining countries out of 193 UN member countries without a confirmed COVID 19 case.
As of 2 April, 18 countries had not reported a Covid-19 case, according to a BBC tally using data from Johns Hopkins University.
There are 193 countries which are members of the United Nations.
The 18 countries without Covid-19
Comoros; Kiribati; Lesotho; Marshall Islands; Micronesia; Nauru; North Korea; Palau; Samoa; Sao Tome and Principe; Solomon Islands; South Sudan; Tajikistan; Tonga; Turkmenistan; Tuvalu; Vanuatu, Yemen
Bernie is a millionaire calling for a increase of taxes for billionaires and joe Biden forced ukriane to fire a prosecutor who was investigating his son in a foreign country. All the women in the Democrat Party dropped out of this presidential election along with the blacks candidates.

Great pivot, Donnie.

Keep up the good work, Donnie.
Reaper comment March 29: "I'm at the island where according to Marshallese legend lajubadbad catched a giant fish."
LOL@Reaper.
So, Reaper, in which U.S. state or territory is "the island where according to Marshallese legend lajubadbad catched a giant fish."
Long Island, New York? Guam? One of the Hawaiian islands? LOL
