Need for Private Newspapers

Public information on important issues affecting the lives of people in Micronesia is very lacking. It is good we have the Kaselelia Press and Marshall Islands Journal but their distributions are very limited. They are only available once a week and some of the news were already outdated. We need a newspaper like the Guam Daily News. If a rich person can come in and set up a daily newspaper, that will be great. Just its availability in Micronesia will deter these corrupt politicians from stealing public funds. Just a thought.
