Chuukese man arrested for kidnapping a dog during routine traffic violation stop. GPD officer Juanito Cruz pulled over a red Nissan sedan for running a red light near the Micronesian Mall intersection and upon inspecting the vehicle, Officer Cruz found a dog inside the trunk along with a bundle of firewood. Man, that's a stray dog found in the boonies. The poor man just wanted to have a dog feast. So for Heaven's sake, leave the man alone. This is the same thing as deer hunting.

This is part of the cultural shock the new Chuukese immigrants to Guam experienced. In Chuuk, it ok to hunt for strayed docks for meat, a delicacy in Chuuk and some parts of the FSM. This is where and when the Consulate Office in Guam should play a crucial role in orienting the newcomers of dos and don't while in Guam. In Hawaii, there are a lot of wild pigs roaming around and the Chuukese there are hunting and killing them for meat. The owners of the golf courses in Hawaii do not like the wild pigs because they are messing up their golf course so they like and appreciate what the Chuukese there are doing.
